We are looking for a Quantum Engineer to join a pioneering group focusing on algorithmic approaches for solving complex mathematical models with quantum-enhanced speed and efficiency. Youll spearhead the design of workflows for tackling fundamental problems in computational science, with significant impact across the organisation.
These are one of the most successful UK businesses with a global footprint and working on solving some of the most demanding Quantum Computing challenges in their industry.
This is a hybrid role and the client is considering junior through to senior quantum computing engineers hence the broad salary range.
Quantum Engineer Responsibilities:

Develop efficient quantum routines for encoding and solving large-scale linear systems.

Innovate on algorithms that can handle time-dependent problems typically modeled by PDEs.

Devise hybrid solutions ready for both simulated and practical quantum environments.

Partner with teams and partners globally to take these advances from theory to application.

Support the uptake of quantum-enhanced tools company-wide.
Key Requirements:

Academics in a quantum computing / quantitative discipline

Deep understanding of computational techniques on both classical and quantum hardware.

Quantum algorithm development

Proficient in Python / Qiskit, Classiq , PennyLane etc
Quantum Engineer Desirables:

Experience with C or C++.

High-performance computing and parallel algorithm development.

Engineering simulation, modeling, or ML exposure.

Understanding of techniques for quantum data preparation and output interpretation.

Linear algebra / advanced quantum methods such as QSVT or quantum linear solvers.
