Emtec Facility Services are looking for a Project Supervisor to oversee building fabric and hard service remedial works across the Northeast of England and Scotland. This role is ideal for someone with a facilities management background and experience in building fabric, construction or M&E trades.
This role is offered with a competitive salary and a company van.
The Role
- Oversee projects from inception to completion, ensuring quality and compliance.
- Create a scope of work with approved contractors and coordinate supply chain resources.
- Support pricing of individual projects and work packages.
- Oversee site setup, deliver inductions, and ensure safety standards are met.
- Conduct toolbox talks and engage with workers on health, safety, and welfare.
- Attend site meetings and liaise with subcontractors to maintain smooth operations.
- Complete final inspections and coordinate remedial work as needed.
What We Are Looking For
- Experience in a similar role, working on live construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of technical drawings, specifications, and Health and Safety procedures.
- Proven experience managing sub-contractors and site-based operatives.
- Ability to collate and manage construction phase documentation.
- A full UK Driving Licence and willingness to travel.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- SSSTS or SMSTS certification.
It would be great if you have:
- Valid CSCS card, First Aid Certification, IPAF, and PASMA.
- Experience in producing construction phase plans.
