The Role

We are seeking a dedicated Plumber / Fabric Engineer to join our mobile team in the Manchester area. In this position, you’ll provide essential maintenance services for our clients at their sites, with a company vehicle provided.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform plumbing and fabric repairs and planned preventative maintenance on Electrical systems to commercial buildings.
  • Ensure compliance with Health and Safety procedures on all contracts.
  • Liaise with the Contract Manager, Contract Administrator, Supervisor, Helpdesk and Engineers.
  • Stay updated on industry standards and best practices.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients.
  • Provide quotations for repairs as needed or at the request of the client.

What We Are Looking For

  • Previous experience as a Fabric Engineer / Plumber ideally with commercial experience in the facility services sector.
  • Ability to perform Manual tasks including manual handling, working at height and in confined spaces as well as willingness to participate in the on-call Rota.
  • Full UK Driving licence is essential.
  • Self-motivated and solutions focused, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
