Due to continued growth and a number of significant contract awards, we are seeking a Trainee Quantity Surveyor to join our Commercial Team based in our Edinburgh office.
This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious individual looking to build a career in Quantity Surveying within the Building Services sector.
Reporting to a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will gain exposure to all aspects of commercial management and contract administration across a range of mechanical and electrical projects, supported by structured training, mentoring and ongoing professional development.
What Youll be Doing Assist with the preparation of monthly Cost/Value Reconciliations and maintain accurate financial records.
Support with tender reviews, contract vetting and tender preparation.
Support the preparation, pricing and tracking of project variations.
Prepare and issue subcontract tender enquiries and subcontract orders.
Attend project pre-start, progress and commercial meetings as required.
Assist with the assessment and processing of subcontractor payments and associated notices.
