We design, install and maintain sprinkler, mist, and specialist fire suppression systems that protect people, property, and business continuity. As our business continues to grow, we are looking for an experienced Sprinkler Designer to join our design team based in Uddingston.
The Role
As a Sprinkler Designer, you will play a key role in delivering high quality fire protection systems from initial concept through to commissioning. Working closely with our in-house project teams, you will produce compliant, efficient designs while providing technical support throughout the installation process to help ensure successful project delivery.
What You'll Be Doing
- Designing automatic sprinkler systems using AutoCAD, Revit and other industry software.
- Producing detailed design drawings, layouts and hydraulic calculations.
- Ensuring all designs comply with relevant industry standards and project specifications.
- Working closely with clients, consultants, and internal teams to develop practical technical solutions.
- Providing design support throughout installation, ensuring systems are delivered in line with the approved design.
- Assisting with technical queries and contributing to continuous improvement across the design function.
What We're Looking For
- At least 2 years experience designing sprinkler systems.
- Good working knowledge of relevant standards (BS EN 12845, NFPA, LPCB, FM Global, etc.).
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, or similar.
- LPCB basic of FHC qualifications (or equivalent) are essential.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
- Able to communicate effectively and build positive working relationships.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
