At Emtec Building Services North, we deliver high-quality mechanical and electrical projects across a wide range of sectors, working with clients who trust us to get the job done properly. As our team continues to grow, we're looking for experienced Electricians to join us in Leeds to support the delivery of commercial electrical installation works across projects in the region.
The Role
As an Electrician with Emtec Building Services North, you'll carry out high quality electrical installation works across commercial projects, working closely with site teams, supervisors and other trades to ensure work is delivered safely, efficiently and in line with drawings and specifications. This is a hands-on role for someone who takes pride in their work and enjoys being part of a busy site environment.
You’ll Be:
- Carrying out electrical installation works across commercial projects
- Working from drawings, specifications and site instructions
- Installing containment, wiring systems, lighting, power and associated electrical systems
- Supporting testing, inspection and commissioning activity where required
- Ensuring work is completed safely and in line with current regulations
- Working closely with supervisors, project managers and other site trades
- Identifying and reporting any issues, delays or material requirements
- Maintaining good housekeeping and safe working practices on site
- Helping ensure projects are delivered to a high standard and in line with programme requirements
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience working in a building services environment on commercial electrical installations
- Able to follow drawings and instructions, and comfortable working as part of a wider project team
- A recognised electrical qualification
- NECEIC registered
- 18th Edition Qualified with valid ECS/CSCS cards or equivalent
- A good understanding of health and safety on site
- A reliable, practical and team-focused approach
- Strong attention to detail and pride in the quality of your work
