Emtec Building Services North is strengthening its delivery leadership team as we mobilise new projects and build on a strong, secured pipeline of work across the region. As part of this continued growth, we are looking for an experienced Electrical Contracts Manager to join us in Leeds. This is a key leadership role where you will take full ownership of electrical projects from pre-construction through to handover. You'll be leading site teams, developing strong client relationships, and playing an active role in shaping our expanding presence in the North.

Emtec Building Services is a leading M&E contractor delivering end-to-end mechanical and electrical solutions across commercial, industrial, and public sector projects, from early design and pre-construction through to installation, commissioning, and ongoing support.

The Role

As Electrical Contracts Manager, you will take responsibility for the safe, efficient, and successful delivery of multiple electrical contracts across Leeds and the surrounding region. You will provide leadership and support to project teams, ensuring contracts are delivered safely, commercially and to a high standard. You will also build strong client relationships, manage contract performance and identify opportunities for repeat and additional business.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Overseeing the delivery of multiple electrical projects from pre-construction through to completion.
  • Leading and supporting Project Managers, site teams and sub-contractors.
  • Ensuring contracts meet health and safety, quality and environmental standards.
  • Monitoring contract budgets, forecasts, programmes and overall commercial performance.
  • Working closely with commercial teams to manage variations, applications, risks and opportunities.
  • Reviewing project performance and implementing corrective actions where required.
  • Managing resources across contracts to support successful delivery.
  • Providing technical and operational guidance to project teams.
  • Developing strong relationships with clients, consultants and supply-chain partners.
  • Identifying opportunities for additional work, repeat business and regional growth.
  • Supporting the development and performance of the wider team.
