At Emtec Facility Services, we deliver planned, reactive and project works across a wide range of commercial buildings, helping our clients keep their facilities safe, compliant and operating as they should. We are looking for a Contracts Supervisor to join our Glasgow team, supporting a portfolio of sites across the Central Belt.

The Role

This is a varied role, working across site, office and hands-on environments. As Contracts Supervisor, you will help oversee day-to-day works across client sites, making sure safe working practices are followed, standards are maintained and any additional works are managed properly. You will also support small scale installation projects, prepare quotations, carry out audits and provide updates for client meetings.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Supporting compliance across a portfolio of buildings
  • Making sure safe working practices are followed
  • Carrying out health and safety and quality audits
  • Supporting M&E meeting updates for clients
  • Managing small installation works up to £150k
  • Preparing quotations for extra works
  • Building strong client relationships
  • Supporting and guiding engineers across the team
  • Working both on and off the tools when needed
  • Travelling across Glasgow and the Central Belt
  • Supporting out-of-hours works where required

What We Are Looking For

We are looking for someone with experience in facilities, building services or M&E who is confident working with both clients and engineers. Ideally, you will be a multi-disciplined engineer; however, we would consider all trades. You will be organised, practical and a good communicator, with a strong focus on safety, quality and getting things done properly. You will have:

  • Experience supervising or supporting M&E / facilities works
  • Good knowledge of health and safety and compliance
  • Experience with small works, extra works or installation projects
  • Strong communication and organisational skills with a hands-on approach
  • Flexibility to travel across the Central Belt
