Were looking for an experienced Site Manager - Solar to join the team and take responsibility for the safe and successful delivery of projects on site, from construction through to commissioning.
The Role
As a Site Manager Solar, youll take the lead on day-to-day site activity, coordinating contractors, monitoring progress and making sure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to the required standard.
This is a site-based position supporting projects across the UK, so flexibility to travel and stay away from home when required will be an important part of the role.
What Youll Be Doing
- Managing day-to-day construction activities across renewable energy projects.
- Coordinating subcontractors and contractors to keep works on programme.
- Monitoring site safety, quality and progress and resolving issues as they arise.
- Ensuring compliance with CDM 2015, RAMS and company Health & Safety procedures.
- Carrying out site inductions, toolbox talks and regular safety checks.
- Working closely with project, engineering and commercial teams throughout delivery.
- Liaising with clients, consultants and other key stakeholders.
- Supporting quality assurance, commissioning and project handover.
- Providing regular updates on progress, risks and site performance.
What Youll Bring
Were looking for someone with:
- Strong Site Management experience within construction, energy or infrastructure projects.
- Experience working on solar PV, BESS, grid infrastructure or similar energy projects would be a real advantage.
- A good working knowledge of CDM 2015 and site Health & Safety requirements.
- SMSTS and a relevant CSCS card.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the confidence to manage contractors and site teams.
- A practical, organised and solutions-focused approach. xgikmsk
