We're now looking for Apprentice Plumbers to join our Glasgow team. This is a fantastic opportunity to earn while you learn, gain hands-on site experience, and build a long-term career in the plumbing trade within a supportive, well-established business.

The Role

As an Apprentice Plumber, you'll learn the trade from the ground up, working alongside experienced Plumbers on live projects while completing your modern apprenticeship. You'll:

  • Work under the supervision of qualified plumbers, gaining practical, on-site experience
  • Attend college on block release to gain a Modern Apprenticeship at SCQF Level 7 in plumbing and heating
  • Assist with basic plumbing tasks, tool handling, preparing work areas and performing simpler plumbing tasks under guidance
  • Learn how to read and interpret drawings, specifications and schematics
  • Work safely as part of a wider site team, including other trades and apprentices

This apprenticeship typically takes around 4 years to complete and you'll gain a recognised trade qualification.

What You Will Need

  • Nat 5 or equivalent in English, Maths (Science desirable)
  • A Plumbing Pre-Apprenticeship would be advantageous, but not essential
  • A genuine interest in the plumbing trade and a strong willingness to learn
  • Good attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions
  • A positive attitude, good communication skills and a strong work ethic
  • A driving licence and access to a vehicle is preferred due to site locations
