At Emtec Fire Systems, our sprinkler projects rely on strong communication, good planning and high standards on site. We are looking for an experienced Travelling Sprinkler Supervisor to support our installation teams across multiple live projects. This is a site-based, mobile role where you will be out visiting projects, checking how works are progressing, supporting the teams and making sure everything is being delivered safely, correctly and to the required standard. It is a great opportunity for someone who knows sprinkler installation, enjoys being visible on site and can spot issues early before they become bigger problems.

The Role

As Travelling Sprinkler Supervisor, you will act as a key link between our site teams, Project Managers, Contracts Managers, design team and operations. You will visit sites regularly to review progress, quality, safety, labour performance, materials and documentation and identify early any design issues, access problems or variations. Just as importantly, you will provide practical support to the teams on site, helping to keep works moving. This role would suit someone who is organised, confident, practical and comfortable having honest conversations when standards need to improve.

What You Will Bring

  • Strong sprinkler installation background and understanding of what good looks like on site.
  • Ability to read drawings and specifications.
  • First class communication skills and confidence to challenge poor workmanship or unsafe practices where needed.
  • Previous experience supervising site teams.
  • Good knowledge of sprinkler installation standards.
  • Strong understanding of site health and safety.
  • Ability to identify quality issues, delays and technical problems.
  • A practical and organised approach.
  • Confidence giving clear updates and feedback.
  • Flexibility to travel between sites.

Qualifications

We would expect you to hold, or be working towards, relevant site qualifications such as:

  • Level 2 Certificate in Fire Sprinkler Installation
  • CSCS Card
  • SSSTS or SMSTS
  • Asbestos Awareness
  • Manual Handling
  • Working at Height
  • First Aid at Work or Emergency First Aid at Work

Additional training such as IPAF, PASMA, sprinkler inspection or commissioning qualifications, LPCB / LPS 1048 awareness, or BS EN 12845 / LPC Rules training would also be beneficial.

What We Offer

  • Attractive Salary: Based on skills and experience.
  • Generous Holidays: 31 days of holiday (inclusive of public holidays), increasing with length of service.
  • Holiday Purchase/Sell Scheme: Additional flexibility to suit your needs.
  • Contributory Pension Scheme: Secure your future with our contributory pension plan.
  • Life Assurance: Peace of mind for you and your family.
  • Development Opportunities: Excellent training and support for career growth.
  • Wellness Support: Access to our Employee Assistance Programme and wellness portal.
  • Exclusive Discounts: Benefit from our Employee Discounts Platform.

In return, you will become part of a dedicated and passionate team that values and rewards commitment and success. If this feels like the right opportunity for you, we would love to hear from you.
