Uddingston (with travel to sites across the UK) At Emtec Energy, we deliver Solar PV, Battery Storage and smart energy solutions across the UK. With a strong pipeline of work ahead, we’re looking for an Electrical Compliance Engineer to join our team in Uddingston. Part of the wider Emtec Sauter Group, we support the UK’s journey to Net Zero, delivering practical, high-quality energy projects from concept through to completion. We’re also a genuinely supportive team that shares knowledge, works together, and takes pride in doing things properly.

The Role

  • This is a hands-on role where you’ll help maintain and improve quality across our projects, from design through to delivery.
  • Carry out site inspections, audits and quality reviews.
  • Monitor workmanship and support teams to improve standards.
  • Work closely with engineers and subcontractors to ensure compliance.
  • Support commissioning to make sure everything is delivered as designed.
  • Act as a key technical point of contact for teams and clients.
  • Act as NICEIC Qualified Supervisor, overseeing certification and audits.
  • Support engineers with safe isolation and best practice.
  • Manage CPD in line with NICEIC requirements.
  • Act as MCS Nominated Technical Person (NTP).
  • Help drive continuous improvement in quality and processes.

What You’ll Bring

  • Experience in a compliance, quality or project engineering role.
  • Strong understanding of electrical standards, testing and inspection.
  • NICEIC Qualified Supervisor status.
  • NVQ Level 3 Electrical, 18th Edition.
