Location: Coatbridge
We’re looking for a skilled Coded Welder to join our growing Off-Site Manufacturing team at Emtec Building Services based at our Off site manufacturing facility in Coatbridge. This is a hands-on role where precision, teamwork, and quality matter — you\’ll play a key part in delivering high-spec modular builds for a wide range of projects across the UK.
4 day Working week Monday to Thursday 7am – 5pm!
What you\’ll be doing:
- Carrying out high-quality TIG, MIG and Electrode welding to NDT-tested standards
- Interpreting detailed fabrication drawings and following correct procedures
- Supporting the workshop team with installs (e.g. pumps, heating accessories)
- Communicating progress and quality checks to the Workshop Supervisor
- Maintaining a clean, safe and efficient working environment
- Completing QA documentation for all tasks undertaken
What we\’re looking for:
- A qualified welder with experience under BS ISO15614-2, BS EN287 or similar
- Strong understanding of plantroom pipework and HVAC systems
- Confident working independently and as part of a team
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to travel if required for occasional site-based work
- ECS/CSCS card
It would be great if you also have:
- A valid UK driving licence
