Site Based with UK Wide Travel - Renewable Energy Projects. At Emtec Energy, we are delivering renewable energy projects across the UK that are helping drive the transition to a more sustainable future. As our projects continue to grow across the UK, we are looking for a Project Quality Engineer to join Emtec Energy and help ensure our solar and battery storage projects are delivered safely, compliantly and to the highest standards.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys being out on site, spotting the detail others miss and working closely with teams to make sure projects are delivered properly from day one.
The Role
You will carry out inspections, audits and quality checks across renewable energy projects, ensuring materials, installations and workmanship meet project specifications, industry standards and company procedures. Working closely with project teams, subcontractors and clients, you will identify issues early, support corrective actions and help drive a strong quality culture across projects. This role would be based in Bedfordshire for the first 6-9 months and going forward will be project based.
What You Will Be Doing
- Carrying out site inspections, audits and QA/QC checks across live projects.
- Inspecting incoming materials including PV modules, inverters, cables and mounting systems.
- Verifying civil, mechanical and electrical installations meet requirements.
