EMT Talent is working with an established engineering company in Sheffield to appoint a Structural Engineer to join their growing team. We are looking to speak with Structural Engineers who have experience in structural design and delivery across building structures projects. The Role: You will be involved in the design and delivery of structural engineering projects from concept through to completion, working within a collaborative team environment and supporting senior engineers while helping develop junior team members.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design of steel, reinforced concrete, portal frame and traditional structures
- Structural analysis and calculations using industry-standard software
- Production and checking of engineering drawings and details
- Preparation of technical reports and design documentation
- Project delivery from concept through to completion
- Supporting junior engineers
- Coordination with other disciplines
- Client and design team meetings
- Ensuring practical, efficient and buildable designs
About You:
- Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (BEng/MEng)
- Experience in a structural engineering consultancy
- Strong understanding of structural engineering principles
- Experience with structural design software
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Chartership progression or ambition to achieve it
