We are seeking an organised Family Legal Secretary to work full-time alongside a Fee Earner in our busy yet friendly Family Law department in Leeds, providing high-quality secretarial support and client care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administrative Support: Audio typing, dictation transcription, court document preparation, and fee-earner diary management.
  • Client Care: Handling telephone and email enquiries, client onboarding, and ID checks.
  • Family Law Coverage: Supporting cases across: Divorce & financial settlements, Children arrangements, Cohabitation & separation agreements, Injunctions & domestic abuse matters.
  • File Management: Preparing court bundles, maintaining client files, billing, and general office admin.

Requirements

  • Experience: Previous legal secretarial experience (Family Law experience preferred).
  • Software: Proclaim experience is desirable, but not essential (training given).
  • Skills: Fast, accurate audio typing, strong Microsoft Office skills, excellent communication, and strong organisational skills.
