Reporting to the Fleet Readiness Manager, this role is to support the ongoing program of re-fits, repairs and refurbishment of our truck and trailer fleet interiors and exteriors.
Requirements
Experience- Essential
Main Duties
- Responsibilities include working with other trades in a supporting role, carrying out general first fix joinery and second fix joinery.
- Insulating and building the internal wall construction on new builds.
- Ordering materials for builds from technical drawings.
- Painting and maintaining the chassis, wheels, and associated kit for deployments.
- Painting doors, doorframes, woodwork.
- Installation of suspended ceilings.
- Installation of Dibond walkways and external walkways.
Requirements
- Time served joiner.
- Understand site safety.
- Ability to work with in a team environment.
- Read and interpret technical drawings.
- Proven ability to problem solve.Trained in the use of power tools.
- Trained in the use of cutting room joinery machinery.
Experience - Preferable
- Ability to manage & deliver multiple tasks to a high standard on time.
- Proven organizational skills.
- Flexible working planning and prioritizing workload.
- Basic level of computer skills.

Other Requirements
- Full UK residency and hold a valid driving license and have suitable transport provisions (public transport is not recommended due to location of offices)
