The Job Overview
We are looking for a Business Development Executive to help achieve company growth targets. The right candidate should be ambitious and able to use their own initiative to seek opportunities. This is an office-based role located in Southwark, London.
The Position
You will be expected to put together and deliver compelling sales plans that will allow you and the business to exceed targets and contribute to the growth of the company. You will also take the lead in growing existing client collaboration. Regular email marketing and cold calling will be required.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing our outbound lead generation and communicating our value proposition to the market.
- Making a high number of daily calls to build pipeline, advance and close sales.
- Generating interest and qualifying leads that turn into active opportunities.
- Gathering data and reacting quickly to buying signals.
- Developing and executing on marketing plans through detailed research, implementation of organisation mapping, and personalised content creation.
- Attending trade shows and partner events to approach potential prospects.
About You
Your background will show a track record of success in a similar role ideally with some experience within the Audio Visual Hire & Live Events industry. A drive for results, your hunter mentality means you will strive to exceed targets set by the business. You should possess tenacity and dogged determination – the ability to keep going in the face of rejection. Self-motivation to conduct every task with urgency is essential. Excellent oral communication and verbal reasoning skills are required – an ability to build rapport quickly, ask insightful questions, and handle objections.
