Essential Criteria for Locum Doctors
- Must hold full Registration with GMC with a licence to practise
- 6 months experience working within NHS
- Right to work in UK
- Valid Access NI enhanced disclosure (or willingness to obtain one)
- Medical indemnity cover
- BLS/ALS certification as appropriate to the role
- Two professional references
- Up-to-date appraisal and revalidation

Pay Rates for Psychiatry Locums
- FY1: £39.75 per hour
- FY2, CT1-3, ST1: £57 per hour
- ST2-6, Specialty Doctor: £72 per hour
- Consultant, Specialist, Associate Specialist grade: £118 per hour
