We are recruiting experienced Specialist Paramedics to support a well-established urgent care service across multiple sites in Northern Ireland. This is a flexible, ad hoc opportunity ideal for clinicians who want control over their shifts while working in a high-autonomy environment. You’ll be working within a “see and treat” model, managing minor injury and illness presentations independently. No prescribing qualification is required, but strong clinical decision-making is essential.
The Role
- Autonomous assessment, diagnosis and treatment of urgent care patients
- Manage minor injury and illness presentations independently
- Work within a “see and treat” model
- Make safe and effective clinical decisions without direct supervision
- 12-hour shifts (08:00–20:00)
- Flexible shift patterns, often in blocks
- Weekend shifts available
What We’re Looking For
- HCPC registered Paramedic
- Strong experience in urgent care / minor injury & illness
- Confident working independently
- Comfortable in solo clinical environments
- Able to adapt across multiple sites
