We are recruiting Advanced Paramedic Prescribers to support a well-established urgent care service across multiple sites in Northern Ireland. This is a flexible, ad hoc opportunity suited to highly experienced clinicians who can assess, treat and prescribe independently within a “see and treat” model.
The Role
- Autonomous assessment, diagnosis and treatment of urgent care patients
- Manage minor illness and injury presentations independently
- Prescribe safely and appropriately within scope of practice
- Work within a full “see, treat and prescribe” model
- Make confident clinical decisions without direct supervision
- 12-hour shifts (08:00–20:00)
- Flexible shift patterns, often in blocks
- Weekend shifts available
What We’re Looking For
- HCPC registered Paramedic
- Independent prescribing qualification (essential)
- Strong experience in urgent care / minor illness & injury
- Confident autonomous practitioner
- Comfortable working in solo clinical settings
- Able to adapt across multiple sites
