You’ll work closely with senior stakeholders across the organisation to turn complex business requirements/data into clear, actionable insight that improves efficiency, profitability, and long‑term business performance.

You’ll be joining a business that is continuing to evolve its analytical capability and approach to data‑driven decision‑making.

In this role, you’ll lead analytical activity across multiple business areas, identifying performance gaps, improvement opportunities, and operational efficiencies. You’ll extract data into our data warehouse for self‑service consumption as well as deliver reporting, dashboards, and KPIs that provide meaningful insight for senior leadership and operational teams.

A key part of the role will involve working with large and complex datasets, including tens or hundreds of millions of records, and building performant and user‑friendly data sources for reporting and data solutions that support strategic decision‑making and continuous improvement.

You’ll be responsible for importing and managing data from multiple sources, including file‑based imports, bespoke system databases, Excel spreadsheets, and data streams, supporting both full reloads and incremental updates. You’ll also work within modern agile delivery environments, collaborating through platforms such as RavenDB or Azure Synapse to deliver analytical solutions effectively and efficiently.

You’re an experienced MIS Developer and business analyst with strong analytical capability, comfortable working with large and complex datasets, extracting the data from various sources, loading it into a database, transforming the data into user‑friendly views, and presenting this into a reporting solution such as Tableau. Thus building insight, and translating technical information into clear, practical recommendations.

You thrive in fast‑paced environments and enjoy improving how businesses use data, processes, and insight to perform better. You’re confident engaging with stakeholders across different functions and are motivated by making a visible impact through data‑driven analysis and continuous improvement.

You have demonstrable experience in TSQL, NoSQL database solutions such as RavenDB, Tableau and/or Power BI, Azure Synapse and/or Azure Data Factory pipelines. Experience working with large datasets and importing and transforming data from multiple sources is essential.

Desirable skills: SQL, NoSQL Database Solutions (e.g. RavenDB), JSON, Tableau, Apache Superset, Apache Airflow, Azure Synapse, Google BigQuery, or Amazon Redshift, Python.
