Responsibilities
- Execute welding, cutting, and fabrication of metal components using MIG, TIG, and Arc techniques in accordance with engineering drawings and specifications.
- Inspect completed work to ensure quality and safety standards are met.
- Maintain equipment and ensure work areas remain clean and organised.
- Collaborate with the wider production team to achieve operational targets.
- Follow all health, safety, and environmental procedures at all times.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in MIG, TIG, and Arc welding.
- Understanding of safety procedures, welding code standards such as ISO 9606, and quality assurance processes.
- Ability to read and comprehend technical drawings and blueprints.
- Previous experience within a welding or fabrication environment.
- Committed to working safely and maintaining high standards.
- Relevant welding qualifications or certifications are advantageous.
