We are seeking a Multiskilled Engineer to support plant operations through reactive, predictive, and planned maintenance, ensuring our site remains safe, compliant, and fully operational.

What You Will Be Doing:
Our maintenance team is are essential to the smooth operation of our facility—without them, everything stops. From fault-finding and repairs to process improvements, this role requires a proactive, hands-on approach across both mechanical and electrical systems.
Working in a fast-paced industrial environment, key responsibilities include:
• Ensure SHE compliance is always the top priority
• Carry out all aspects of maintenance operations within the fridge recycling facility
• Collaborate with the existing maintenance team to improve skills and processes
• Use technical expertise in electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems for effective planning and troubleshooting
• Maintain high attention to detail, preventing minor issues from escalating into major problems
• Promote, implement, and monitor continuous improvement initiatives
• Ensure adherence to the spares system to avoid parts shortages
• Assist with sourcing and negotiating contracts for equipment and service

About You:
• Time-served with a nationally recognised Level 3 Mechanical or Electrical Apprenticeship
• Multi-skilled (ideally 70/30 split), with experience in hydraulics, pneumatics, power transmission, welding, and fabrication
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a team in a heavy industrial setting
