About our opportunity:
We are looking for a proactive and highly organised Fleet Maintenance Coordinator to join our fast-paced Central Fleet Maintenance team in Salford. Working within a dynamic environment, you will take ownership of a regional area of our fleet, ensuring all scheduled maintenance, compliance requirements, and breakdown management are handled efficiently.
This is a key role in keeping our fleet moving, maintaining compliance, and supporting stakeholders across the business.
The role may include occasional travel across our network to aid the building of relationships to better support your regional ownership.
This opportunity will be working: Monday – Friday, 07:30AM – 17:00PM (45 hours per week)
What you will be doing:
• Schedule and manage planned maintenance inspections (PMIs), MOTs, brake tests, LOLERs, tachograph calibrations, and other compliance-related events.
• Handle inbound breakdowns and vehicle defects via telephone and email, ensuring timely resolution.
• Maintain accurate digital compliance records for all fleet maintenance events.
• Manage stakeholder queries in a professional and approachable manner, both by phone and email.
• Process supplier purchase orders and support financial controls.
• Carry out ad-hoc administrative tasks to support departmental needs.
