Marketing Manager in Warrington

We're recruiting on behalf of a major UK infrastructure business with a growing presence in the energy and water sectors — including a landmark carbon capture and storage project putting them at the forefront of the UK's net zero transition.

They're looking for a Marketing Manager to take ownership of marketing delivery across their Energy & Water division. It's a genuinely varied role: one day you're organising an industry exhibition, the next you're writing a press release, filming content on-site, or pulling together an award submission.

What you'll be doing:

• Managing and delivering the marketing programme across Energy and Water
• Planning the annual events calendar — exhibitions, conferences, stakeholder events
• Writing press releases and case studies that showcase major projects
• Creating content for LinkedIn, short‑form video and podcasts
• Working closely with Managing Directors to keep messaging aligned to strategy
• Supporting thought leadership, award submissions and media relationships

What we're looking for:

• Marketing experience, ideally at Manager level
• Strong written communication — press releases, case studies, social content
• Events planning and budget management experience
• Confidence with photography/video, or a willingness to learn
• A full UK driving licence
• Energy, water, utilities or infrastructure experience is a bonus, not a must
