Are you an experienced marketing and communications leader looking for an opportunity to shape the brand and reputation of a complex, multi-sector organisation?
We're looking for a strategic and commercially minded Group Head of Marketing & Communications to lead a high-performing UK-wide MarComms function during a 12-month maternity cover.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver the Group-wide marketing and communications strategy.
- Act as a trusted adviser to the CEO and Executive Team on communications, reputation and stakeholder engagement.
- Lead, coach and inspire a large UK-wide marketing and communications team.
- Protect and strengthen the Group's brand and corporate reputation.
- Oversee PR, media relations, thought leadership and crisis communications.
- Lead internal communications across a diverse operational workforce.
- Oversee digital marketing, social media governance and content strategy.
- Manage communications relating to operational incidents and reputational issues.
- Monitor performance, measure ROI and provide regular reporting to senior leadership.
You'll bring:
- Significant experience leading large, multidisciplinary marketing and communications teams.
- A strong background in strategic communications, corporate affairs, brand and reputation management.
- Experience partnering with CEOs and Executive Teams, influencing senior decision-making.
- Excellent stakeholder management and leadership skills.
- A proven ability to operate within complex, fast-moving organisations.
Experience within Energy, Utilities, Power, Telecoms, Property Services, Engineering, Construction or other regulated or infrastructure-led sectors would be highly advantageous, although candidates from similarly complex B2B environments will also be considered.
