Hybrid working - Central London
I’m working with a well-known consumer goods business to recruit a Senior Brand Manager to lead one of their most established and commercially successful personal care brands. This is a senior-level brand ownership role with full responsibility for strategy, commercial performance, innovation, and execution. The brand has a strong presence in the UK market and ambitious growth plans, supported by significant A&P investment and a highly engaged cross-functional team.
Key responsibilities include:
- Strategic brand planning – Own the long-term brand strategy and develop annual plans grounded in consumer insight, market analysis and commercial opportunity.
- P&L accountability – Manage brand performance across volume, value, and gross margin, working closely with finance to monitor profitability and make commercially sound decisions.
- Innovation and NPD – Lead the development of the innovation pipeline, from concept through to launch. This includes writing NPD briefs, collaborating with R&D and packaging teams, and ensuring delivery through the stage-gate process.
- Campaign development – Develop and execute fully integrated campaigns across ATL, digital, shopper, and in-store. Work closely with creative, media, and activation agencies to deliver work that builds equity and drives conversion.
- Cross-functional leadership – Build strong relationships with sales, category, technical, and international teams. Ensure alignment across channels and functions to deliver consistent messaging and commercial results.
- Insight and analysis – Use consumer, category, and market data to inform strategy, shape plans and track performance. Run regular brand reviews and course-correct as needed.
- Agency and stakeholder management – Day-to-day leadership of external partners and internal stakeholders. Drive the delivery of work to time, budget, and brief.
Who we’re looking for:
- Significant brand marketing experience in FMCG, ideally personal care or adjacent categories
- Track record of owning brand strategy, driving growth, and leading innovation
- Strong commercial acumen and experience managing brand P&L
- Confident briefing and delivering multi-channel campaigns
- Comfortable working cross-functionally and influencing at a senior level
- Analytical, curious, organised, and proactive
You’ll be joining a team that values autonomy, clear thinking, and high standards — with plenty of opportunity to make your mark and influence the brand’s future direction.
This role requires you to have the full right to work in the UK as they cannot offer visa sponsorship.
