A global asset manager is seeking a PR Specialist to design and implement the UK European public relations strategy to enhance the reputation, visibility, and media presence. You'll work closely with the Head of Comms and help drive brand visibility.

ESSENTIAL: PR experience in: Asset Management / B2C private banking / B2C wealth management / on-line trading / crypto experience and ETF would be a real advantage.

Responsibilities:

  • Developing and implementing a comprehensive PR strategy aligned with business objectives and brand values
  • Work with Head of Comms to identify new opportunities to raise the profile of the organisation
  • Identifying opportunities to promote expertise and competitive advantage through opinion pieces, commentary, and speaking engagements
  • Managing all media relations, including proactive outreach and reactive responses
  • Monitor media coverage, analyse PR campaign performance, and provide regular reports to senior management
  • Serving as the main point of contact for media enquiries
  • Collaborate closely with marketing and ensure consistency in messaging

Experience:

  • Proven track record in a PR or communications role, ideally within the asset management sectors
  • B2C private banking / wealth management / trading / crypto experience would also be considered
  • Ideally 5-8 years experience in PR
  • Agency experience would be considered
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to distil complex topics into clear, engaging messages
  • Strong network of media contacts within the UK financial and business press
  • Experience managing crisis communications and sensitive issues with discretion and professionalism
  • Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach and the ability to deliver long-term value
  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field
  • Relevant professional certifications or memberships are an advantage

£55-£70,000 (Dependent on experience) + excellent bonus
