A professional services provider based in London is seeking a Marketing Assistant to help the business deliver high quality events and marketing for a number of its offices across the UK.
Responsibilities:
- Provide support on events and presentations specifically PowerPoint presentations for seminars as well as production of handouts.
- Take ownership of webinars and events on Zoom and Teams.
- Update and amend the website ensuring content is up to date. Post news, announcements, articles, and other new content for the website and amend barristers profiles to showcase their experience as directed.
- Assist with SEO to ensure ranking is high as possible.
- Assist with drafting PR news-stories about cases, new authorships/reports/laws working to marketing colleagues including creating images to be used on social media and PR.
- Help with the commissioning and ordering of brochures, promotional items, and ordering of banners/all branded goods such as pull up banners, pens, business cards, and noticeboards.
- Assist in managing e-mail databases for the practice areas marketing campaigns and occasional contact mailing (such as e-Xmas card).
- Assist with the planning and execution of in-person events, primarily those taking place in London. Events include client conferences, seminars, and pupillage/recruitment open evenings and fairs.
Requirements:
- Event organisation and event planning experience essential.
- Recent graduates in marketing would be considered.
- Marketing degree would be preferred.
- Strong administrative and organisational skills.
- Good communication skills both verbal and written.
- High level of proficiency in Outlook, Teams, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel essential.
- Understanding of Canva and other common marketing platforms such as YouTube, Buzzsprout and others is beneficial but not essential.
Salary: £25,000 - £27,000. 3-days in the office.
