Marketing Operations & Enablement Manager up to £65,000 + bonus London (2 days a week in the office) Large consultancy firm
This isn't a standard Marketing Operations role. You'll play a crucial role in coordinating and streamlining processes for the rest of the team.
Our client, an award-winning analytics and advisory consultancy is looking for someone who can step back from the day-to-day and see the bigger picture: where teams are losing time, where processes are creaking, and where automation or AI can genuinely move the needle. This is a hands-on, delivery-focused position for someone who's operated at a larger organisation, where marketing and BD functions are more complex, more matrixed, and where process discipline actually matters. You'll need to have seen how things work (and break) at scale to spot the fixes here.
What you'll do:
- Diagnose inefficiencies across marketing/BD workflows and design simpler, more effective ways of working
- Identify and implement automation and AI opportunities — practically, not for their own sake
- Use operational data to prioritise improvements and prove impact
- Run a test-and-learn approach to process change, scaling what works
- Build trust and influence across teams without formal authority
What we're looking for:
- Experience in marketing operations, process improvement or enablement — ideally gained inside a larger, more complex organisation
- A track record of turning inefficiency into measurable improvement, including through automation/workflow tools
- Strong analytical instincts paired with genuine delivery skills — you finish what you diagnose
- Comfort applying AI and automation sensibly, with the judgement to know when not to
- Excellent stakeholder management — you can explain change in plain terms and bring people with you
