A niche B2C and B2B2C mortgage broker based in London is seeking a Head of Marketing to implement the marketing and digital strategy to drive growth in leads and help improve brand awareness.

Responsibilities:

  • Social media management for LinkedIn and other relevant potential future social media platforms.
  • Build high quality content for all channels.
  • Help business business stronger relationships with estate agents to increase volume and quality of referrals.
  • To ensure that marketing communications (website, leaflets, newsletters, advertising, press releases, market research and reports) are aligned with the principles.
  • Analyse and compile reports on various KPI’s to assess the effectiveness of various marketing and communications activities, including the ROI, whether measured in financial or strategic terms.
  • Assisting with all aspect of the Company’s PR activities, including conducting research, copywriting, and devise opportunities for comment.
  • Manage and prepare all copywriting for the company’s website with a focus on enhancing SEO and website conversions.
  • Assist with managing PPC campaigns and related activities including managing landing pages, keyword research and budget management.
  • Work with the MD and recruit and build a marketing team of 2-3 in time.

Requirements:

  • B2B and B2C financial services experience is essential.
  • An understanding of the mortgage industry would be an advantage.
  • Broad on and offline marketing experience.
  • Good track record of driving high quality leads.
  • Track record of developing a brand through multiple channels.
  • An understanding of the mortgage industry would be an advantage.
  • Good numerical, written, and creative communication skills with strong attention to detail and ability to work to tight deadlines.
  • Ability to undertake basic data analysis and compile reports on key metrics.
  • Experience of using CMS, in particular WordPress, and marketing automation software would be advantageous but training will be provided.
  • Research skills and the ability to communicate to various stakeholders and across different platforms.
  • Ability to understand and analyse market trends.
