A global investment bank is seeking a Marketing Director to own and execute the B2B marketing strategy for a key division within the business that covers Energy, ESG, Utilities, Waste and Power. You’ll be the POC globally and you’ll assist the division achieve its ambitious 5-year growth target.
Responsibilities
- Work with CMO to develop marketing strategy in the UK, Europe and North America, and oversee execution of strategies
- Build a data-first marketing function by owning analytics across traffic, engagement, pipeline growth with sales and conversion optimisation
- Oversee continuous optimisation of digital channels and marketing tech infrastructure to improve insights, efficiency, and customer experience
- Oversee the global and regional marketing execution of campaigns across multiple channels (email, digital, social, content syndication, paid media)
- Manage centralised campaigns including the management of asset production, QA, and campaign optimisation
- Work cross-functionally with content, product marketing, and demand generation to translate strategy into execution-ready campaigns
- Identify internal and external resources for strategic account marketing execution
- Implement marketing programmes on behalf of sales and provide guidance to representatives on executing programme elements independently
- Track ROI and implement improvements
Requirements
- Progressive senior marketing leader / director experience specialising across Energy, ESG, Utilities, Waste and Power or similar verticals is essential. Global experience also essential
- Demonstrated success influencing at C-suite or executive leadership level, driving strategic alignment and contributing to enterprise decision-making
- Proven track record of building and executing marketing strategies that directly support commercial growth, brand elevation, and market expansion
- Knowledge of growth marketing, brand leadership, and data-driven performance optimisation at scale
- Future-focused strategic thinker, with a track record of leveraging emerging technologies and evolving marketing models to drive competitive differentiation
- Implement marketing automation systems – HubSpot and Salesforce
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with global teams
- Familiarity with branding fundamentals and proficiency in digital marketing channels
