Associate Director of Marketing Communications
Salary: £70,000 + car allowance and range of benefits
Location: Remote but with regular trips to West Midlands office

This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-known and respected children’s charity that provides vital support to babies, children, and young people with complex and life-limiting conditions and their families across the West Midlands and beyond.
Following a recent organisational restructure, the charity is investing in its brand and communications strategy, expanding its marketing capability to work in close partnership with its high-performing fundraising and community engagement teams.
Main responsibilities:
- Lead the creation and delivery of multi-channel marketing campaigns to strengthen relationships with healthcare professionals, increase referrals, and raise awareness among families who could benefit from the charity’s services.
- Develop and execute a forward-looking three-year marketing and communications strategy to enhance brand visibility and community impact.
- Use data-driven insights and analytics to optimise marketing performance, test new approaches, and improve audience engagement.
- Shape a compelling content strategy that tells authentic stories and highlights the charity’s purpose and achievements.
- Build and maintain strong stakeholder engagement with healthcare professionals, ICBs, clinical networks, and community partners.
- Establish communication frameworks that support service development, quality improvement, and advocacy within children’s health and wellbeing.
Your profile:
- Proven strategic marcoms experience in non-for-profit organistion
- Proven track record of leading successful marcomms function in a similar role within the charity sector.
- Outstanding communication, negotiation and relationship building skills
