About Our Opportunity
We’re looking for an IT Systems Engineer to play a key role in supporting and strengthening our global technology landscape. Based at our Warrington Head Office, you’ll be part of a high-performing IT team responsible for delivering resilient, secure, and efficient systems that underpin operations across more than 175 locations worldwide.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Provide high-level technical support and contribute to major infrastructure projects in a fast-paced, mission-critical environment.
- Ensure high availability and performance of servers, storage, and virtualisation platforms.
- Support the delivery and implementation of new IT initiatives, contributing your technical expertise to successful project outcomes.
- Ensure all business-wide IT changes follow formal CAB processes, working collaboratively to provide clear information for wider team review and approval.
- Manage and enhance core datacentre services, ensuring stability, compliance, and continual improvement.
- Administer Microsoft 365 solutions including SharePoint, Intune, Teams, Exchange, and perform regular operational health checks with a focus on security, reliability, and optimisation.
- Support the development of new processes, policies, and procedures that enhance service quality and operational efficiency.
About You
You’ll bring a strong technical foundation and a proactive, solution-driven mindset, including:
- Relevant Experience in 2nd/3rd line infrastructure roles.
- In-depth knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Azure services.
- Solid hands-on experience with core on-premises server technologies.
- Understanding of infrastructure tools and platforms, ideally including VMware Enterprise products, Citrix XenApp/XenDesktop, Veeam Backup & Replication, HPE server hardware, Fibre Channel SAN solutions, Scripting or automation tools.
