Helping to organise and manage shift resources to drive safe, efficient, and effective utilisation of all personnel, plant and equipment.

What You Will Be Doing: As a Shift Team Leader, you will ensure compliance in all areas meets our customer’s quality standards and requirements, whilst promoting a safe working environment. You will oversee the Site Operatives within their shift and promote and encourage coaching, teamwork, flexibility and effective promotion of healthy relations with our Client JLR. The Team Leader will take action to continually improve performance, manage equipment issues and deal with day-to-day employee issues ensuring clear communication at all times. Effective communication with the Operations Manager is a prerequisite of this position.

Here are a few responsibilities included in the role:

  • Ensure all operational equipment is in good working order and has regular/scheduled documented servicing with any defects made good in a timely manner.
  • Document all evidence using TCM system.
  • Daily liaison with Operations Manager and shift site operatives and management to ensure client contract/KPIs are facilitated as required.
  • Ensure scrap detail is recorded on JLR SAP system, all waste and dispatch tickets are accurately completed in full, photographed and emailed to appropriate persons in a timely manner.

About You: If you have exceptional customer service skills, a successful track record as a team leader/supervisor, and you have the ability to oversee and manage our shift teams whilst continually improving performance, then this role will be perfect for you!
