About Our Opportunity: We are seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to join our team. As a core member of the maintenance function, you will carry out reactive, predictive, and planned electrical maintenance across our operations. This role is site-based and plays a critical part in ensuring plant reliability, safety, and operational performance. Working hours are Monday–Friday, with overtime required to support operational needs. What You Will Be Doing: Carry out planned preventative maintenance and reactive breakdown repairs Diagnose and repair faults on electrical systems including motors, drives, control panels, conveyors, shredders, balers, and associated plant equipment. Maintain and fault-find on three-phase power systems, control circuits, PLCs, inverters, sensors, and instrumentation. Demonstrate an understanding and application of safe isolation and LOTOTO procedures. Follow OEM maintenance schedules, technical documentation, and company procedures. Support continuous improvement initiatives to improve plant reliability and reduce downtime Collaborate effectively with mechanical engineers, contractors, and operational teams to minimise disruption to production. About You: Proven experience maintaining and fault-finding on industrial electrical systems within a heavy industrial, manufacturing, recycling, quarrying, or process plant environment. Experience working with PLC-controlled equipment and electrical fault diagnosis. NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Maintenance. 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification desirable. Ability to work independently, prioritise workloads, and respond effectively to plant breakdowns. Proven track record of experience in a comparable Fixed Plant Electrical Engineer or Electrical Maintenance Engineer role.
