About the Role
We are looking for a Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer to join our depot maintenance team. This is a hands‑on role where you’ll play a key part in ensuring our plant and processing equipment operates safely, reliably, and efficiently. Working across both mechanical and electrical systems, you’ll support continuous improvement, minimise downtime, and contribute to the overall performance of the site. You’ll also benefit from ongoing training and development to expand your technical skillset and career progression.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive breakdown repairs to maximise plant uptime
- Diagnose and fault‑find across mechanical and electrical systems
- Maintain and repair equipment including conveyors, shredders, motors, gearboxes, bearings, and drive systems
- Work on electrical systems including 3‑phase motors, control panels, sensors, and basic PLC fault finding
- Maintain and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- Ensure all work is completed safely in line with company procedures and health
