About Our Opportunity:

We are seeking a skilled Mobile Plant Fitter to join our team. As a core member of the maintenance function, you will carry out reactive, predictive, and planned maintenance across our sites. Working hours are Monday–Friday, with overtime required to cover operational needs.

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Carry out planned and breakdown maintenance on hydraulic cranes, material handling equipment, wheeled loaders, forklifts, skid steers, tracked loaders and various other plant.
  • Complete and maintain all documentation on CMMS, show an understanding and demonstration of good housekeeping, show an understanding and demonstration of LOTOTO procedures, be able to work in a safe manner as laid out in company policy, be able to follow both company and OEM work procedures and service schedules.
  • Comply with company policies and procedures as defined in the Employee Manual and the post holder’s terms & particulars of employment.
  • Inspect work areas and equipment for deficiencies, hazards, and malfunctions and report all discrepancies and unsafe acts or working conditions to the Maintenance team leader, working together to investigate and resolve them quickly.

Qualifications:

  • The ability to work on your own initiative, managing your own time, workload and site responsibilities effectively.
  • The ability to work as part of a team, assist colleagues and site contractors.
  • NVQ Level 3 or above in a relevant subject.
  • Proven track record of experience in a comparable role.
  • Committed to high standards, attention to detail, and safe working practices.
  • Full UK driving licence.
