About Our Opportunity: We are looking for a Maintenance Team Leader to oversee the day‑to‑day maintenance of plant machinery and equipment. You will lead the maintenance team, coordinate preventative and reactive work, and ensure maintenance activities are carried out safely, efficiently, and in line with operational requirements to minimise downtime.
What You Will Be Doing:
- Supervise and coordinate daily maintenance activities across plant and equipment
- Ensure preventative maintenance schedules are completed
- Monitor equipment performance and identify improvement opportunities
- Review RAMS and ensure they are compliant with the job task
- Coordinate maintenance fitters to meet operational requirements
- Lead, support, and provide technical guidance to maintenance technicians
- Promote safe working practices and ensure compliance with health and safety procedures
- Plan maintenance shutdowns alongside the Operations Manager
- Monitor plant condition and recommend upgrades or replacements where required
- Manage contractors on site and ensure work meets safety and quality standards
About You:
- Completed a nationally recognised mechanical or fabrication apprenticeship (minimum Level 3), ideally higher‑level or time‑served.
- Proven background maintaining and repairing heavy plant and mobile machinery in engineering environments
- Previous experience supervising or leading maintenance team
- Strong knowledge of preventive and reactive maintenance processes
