About opportunity: You understand the power of a company that consistently shows up for its customers with the right message, at the right time, when they’re in the right mindset. And you want to be the one making that happen for a company where showing up consistently could lead to incredible and important changes around the world. Apply your marketing genius to a mission that really matters by joining the EMR marketing team as an Assistant Marketing Manager.
What you will be doing: Half stakeholder manager, half creative conduit, our new Assistant Marketing Manager understands exactly what makes people tick. You’ll build strong relationships around the business, regularly checking in to discover the latest innovations and identifying opportunities to communicate these ideas to the rest of the business or the rest of the world. Taking all that insider knowledge, you’ll work with the creative team to come up with campaigns that connect – whether it’s colleague comms, community content or creative customer campaigns. You’ll coordinate and encourage the marketing team so that every communication and every campaign is better than the one before, measuring success so that we can make sure we’re pushing the right buttons.
About you: We don’t believe in shutting doors on potential, so we don’t ask over the odds for qualifications or experience. We can teach you everything you need to know. What we can’t teach is:
- The confidence to command rooms and support projects and people from concept to delivery
- Juggling campaigns, channels, creative ideas and cross‑functional collaboration
- Herding cats…we mean creatives and stakeholders
If you have these qualities, as well as experience delivering impactful and successful marketing campaigns, you’re already well on your way to being an incredibly important member of our team. We’ll happily fill in the gaps by developing your knowledge, skills and expertise on the job. And we won’t stop training you once you’ve reached peak Marketer status, because when you work for a global leader in sustainable materials, there is no limit to your career progression.
Who we are: Our purpose is to create a future where the materials we use don’t need to be extracted from the planet. At EMR, we give new life to unwanted materials. Every year, we recycle 10 million tonnes of metals and plastics, saving 19 million tonnes of carbon from entering the Earth’s atmosphere, diverting waste from landfill and protecting resources and habitats. We couldn’t do any of this without our team members. In return for all they do, we do everything we can to create an environment of belonging, value, support and growth, underpinned by our Company values of We Care and We Do.
We Care: Integrity – our people are Respectful and Honest; Trust – our people are Collaborative and Genuine.
We Do: Accountable – our people are Determined and Responsible; Innovative – our people have a Growth Mind‑set and are Progressive.
