Role Overview
We are looking for a High Voltage Shift Leader with extensive knowledge of Critical Facilities/Data Centre infrastructure (Electrical, Mechanical, DC specific). You will lead engineering shift teams in the inspection, operation, and maintenance of Data Centre assets, focusing on risk management and service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain M&E systems within the Data Centre, ensuring compliance with safety and energy efficiency standards.
- Coordinate maintenance activities and manage Specialist Subcontractors.
- Act as the authorised person for 11kV Electrical Systems, issuing permits to work (PTW).
- Maintain accurate records of work orders and participate in team/client meetings.
- Promote QHSE compliance and manage planned maintenance tasks.
Personal Specification
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Data Centre or Critical Environment operations.
- HV Authorised Person qualification and HNC/HND in a relevant field or equivalent.
- Strong communication, IT, and report‑writing skills.
- Ability to lead a team under pressure and a commitment to operational excellence.
- Willingness to attend training on‑site and off‑site, with overnight stays as required.
