Empro Talent are hiring on behalf of a leading IT solutions business within the Healthcare & Justice environments, an experienced Operations Director to oversee the day to day operations of the business including a bespoke CMS for use by Healthcare Professionals working in Criminal Justice. This role is pivotal in ensuring the efficiency, reliability, and continuous improvement of the CMS platform, which integrates with NHS Digital, police, and courts systems. The successful candidate will also play a key role in driving growth and building the team culture. This role seeks innovators, you must be looking to the next technology and how that technology can advance the reduction of recidivism in criminal justice.
This job requires you to have a full, clean, and valid UK driving license along with access to a suitable car as you will be expected to drive to various locations within the UK.
Qualifications and Skills:- Proven experience in an operations management role, preferably within the healthcare, police, courts, or prisons sectors.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Extensive experience with SaaS products and start-ups.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Azure, clinical systems, and cyber security.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
Must possess or be willing to obtain Security Clearances (SC) for UK prisons and NPPV Level 3 for police custody visits.
This role primarily involves remote work with occasional on-site visits to client sites and head office in Chelmsford, Essex and Glasgow. Travel to UK prisons and police custody suites is required approximately every three months. International travel (North America and Europe) may be required once or twice a year to support CEO meetings.
