Position: National Accounts Business Development Associate
Location: Brackley, Northamptonshire
Working Hours: 40 hours per week
Our client is a distinguished leader in the industry that stands out as a national service provider for both emergency and scheduled drainage and plumbing services. Operating seamlessly through an expansive network comprising over 30 branches, they have firmly established itself as a market leader, delivering exceptional solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cold call to create credible leads and demonstrate the ability to contact key decision makers within the customer organisation. You will be measured on account call rates, conversion rates and reportable account revenue generation.
- With senior management, plan and maintain a pipeline of customer opportunities.
- Help build, maintain and deliver profitable revenue growth.
- Manage the company CRM to a high degree of accuracy to ensure all activity is recorded. This will include all emails and business calls undertaken with clear objectives and outcomes recorded on account activity.
- Research and identify new business opportunities - including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, partnerships, or new ways of reaching existing markets.
- Meet with customers face to face, over the phone & remotely.
- Foster and develop relationships with customers.
- Negotiate pricing with customers, in collaboration with the National Service Delivery Manager and Operations Director.
- Increase sales of the business.
Required Experience:
- Experience within the Drainage & Plumbing sector (beneficial).
- Have a proven track record of winning new profitable business.
- Be a key influencer and have strong persuasion skills.
- Ability to demonstrate experience in building, maintaining, and delivering growth within key/major accounts.
- Sales: 2 years (required).

- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to think quickly and react promptly to potential problems.
- Must be able to deal with people at all levels of seniority and be flexible in approach.
- A self-motivated person who is keen to learn and to share that learning with others.
