The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.

The successful candidate will deliver high-calibre maintenance services within Building Clusters. Responding quickly to fault/breakdown requests and efficiently undertaking routine scheduled maintenance of plant and/or equipment is a pre-requisite and of paramount importance.

Role Summary

  • Carry out routine planned preventative maintenance tasks as required across HV and LV distribution systems, associated plant/equipment, and HVAC mechanical cooling/heating systems as determined by the CMMS system’s work orders.
  • Monitor BMS for running and alarm conditions.
  • Attend to A/C-related client issues.
  • Conduct building walk-rounds, taking meter readings from UPS, PDUs, and utilities.
  • Investigate faults, identify causes, and implement effective remedies.
  • Prepare accurate and timely reports as required.
  • Ensure corrective/repair works are carried out in accordance with current regulations.
  • Assist with installation works when required.
  • Participate in the emergency call-out roster, providing cover for weekends and team member absences, as required.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of the portfolio buildings, their layouts, functions, and complexities.
  • Establish and develop trusting, meaningful relationships with Facilities Managers, client staff, and representatives.
  • Promote and maintain compliance with safe working practices, quality standards, and best practice methods.
  • Contribute ideas/initiatives to enhance service levels and delivery.
  • Undertake other tasks as required by the Customer Services Supervisor/Contract Manager, in line with experience and competencies.
  • Work a 12-hour continental shift pattern.

Experience Required

  • City & Guilds Electrical Competency Parts 1 & 2 or equivalent.
  • Good building services knowledge.
  • Critical Environment Experience.
  • Strong customer relationship skills.
  • Working knowledge of “Permit to Work” systems.
  • Ability to understand and interpret technical drawings/processes.
  • Experience with CMMS and BMS systems.
  • Time-served electrical apprenticeship.
  • Experience working in Data Centres.
  • HV switching qualification/experience.
  • 18th Edition IEE Regulations certification.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Knowledge of ACoPs L8.
