A global engineering and product development organisation is seeking a Senior Test Design Engineer to join its growing engineering team.
This is an opportunity to play a key role in the design, development, and verification of automated test solutions supporting innovative products through the full product lifecycle — from concept through to commercialisation and sustaining engineering.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop automated test solutions
- Create and maintain test software using LabVIEW and NI TestStand
- Perform design analysis, verification, and validation activities
- Support projects across the full product realisation lifecycle
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams
- Produce and maintain technical project documentation
- Apply Lean Sigma principles to improve processes and eliminate waste
- Work with lab test and measurement equipment
Qualifications:
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline
Required Skills:
- Experience designing and developing automated test systems
- Strong LabVIEW experience
- Strong NI TestStand experience
- Experience writing code for automated testing systems
- Background in test design engineering or related engineering environments
- Experience with functional testing and environmental testing
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently across multiple project phases
Preferred Skills:
- Understanding of Lean Sigma principles
- Structured design understanding
- Experience working across full product realisation processes
Pay range and compensation package:
