The Role
As a Technical Author, you will work closely with engineers, designers, and subject matter experts to produce high-quality technical documentation. You will play a key role in translating complex engineering data, including drawings and standards, into clear, usable content for end users and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather information directly from engineers and technical teams
- Interpret design drawings, specifications, and industry standards
- Develop accurate, clear, and user-focused technical documentation
- Collaborate within a multi-disciplinary team environment
- Support documentation across customer sites, including occasional overseas travel
- Identify and highlight opportunities for additional business value
