An established and growing organisation within the defence, aerospace, and public sector is seeking a Commercial Manager to lead commercial activities across complex programmes.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage full contract lifecycle from bid to close‑out
- Lead contract negotiations and commercial strategy
- Ensure compliance with Procurement Act and SSCR
- Manage risk, variations, claims, and disputes
- Support pricing and cost modelling
- Work with cross-functional teams (engineering, finance, legal, operations)
Requirements
- Experience in Commercial Management within defence, aerospace, or public sector
- Strong knowledge of procurement regulations and frameworks
- Experience with DEFCONs and DEFSTANs
- Knowledge of contract types (Fixed Price, Cost Reimbursable, Framework Agreements)
- Strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills
- MCIPS (desirable)
- Export control knowledge (ITAR/EAR) advantageous
- Eligible for security clearance
