An established and growing organisation within the defence, aerospace, and public sector is seeking a Commercial Manager to lead commercial activities across complex programmes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage full contract lifecycle from bid to close‑out
  • Lead contract negotiations and commercial strategy
  • Ensure compliance with Procurement Act and SSCR
  • Manage risk, variations, claims, and disputes
  • Support pricing and cost modelling
  • Work with cross-functional teams (engineering, finance, legal, operations)

Requirements

  • Experience in Commercial Management within defence, aerospace, or public sector
  • Strong knowledge of procurement regulations and frameworks
  • Experience with DEFCONs and DEFSTANs
  • Knowledge of contract types (Fixed Price, Cost Reimbursable, Framework Agreements)
  • Strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills
  • MCIPS (desirable)
  • Export control knowledge (ITAR/EAR) advantageous
  • Eligible for security clearance
