Our client is seeking a Systems Administrator to join their fast‑paced Family Office technology team. The role is integral to delivering robust, secure, and high‑performing enterprise infrastructure for a globally roaming user base, ensuring always‑on services that support business‑critical operations.
The client operates the majority of their services on‑premise, with an emphasis on security and resiliency, however they are starting a careful move into use of more Microsoft 365 and safe AI.
The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment, managing a continually changing workload with meticulous attention to detail, while remaining calm and positive. This role would suit a professional with a demonstrable interest in technology that extends outside work, and who keeps themselves up to date with news and developments in the field.
Qualifications and Skills- Achieved degree, ideally in technical or engineering subject
- Formal training and certification in Microsoft or VMware Server technologies
- Extensive experience with Microsoft and VMware on‑premise is critical for the role
- Any Google Workspace experience would be useful
- Storage management experience extremely important, ideally with Veeam, Exagrid, Dell Storage, Compellent, VMware vSAN, or equivalent enterprise level
- Previous Exchange mailbox management very important, including all standard mail operations, mail flow, and an understanding of SPF/DMARC/DKIM
- Experience implementing and managing zero trust, IdP, multi‑factor authentication, and conditional access strongly desirable
- Other SaaS platforms such as CrowdStrike, Threatlocker, Netskope, and Okta useful
